Make Us a Beneficiary
The way to include LeadershipExcellenceforWomenbyWomen (LEWW) in your estate planning is through bequests. If you decide to support LEWW through your will, you can:

Direct a specific bequest of money or an asset (e.g. stock, a house) to LEWW.

Designate a percentage of the total value of the estate.

Designate a residual bequest that directs LEWW to receive the remainder of the estate, or a portion of the remainder, after all expenses and other bequests have been made.

Name LEWW as a beneficiary
If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer needed to provide dependents, consider naming LEWW as the beneficiary.
Some assets, such as IRAs and other qualified retirement plans, do not pass directly through your will and require you to name a beneficiary. You can also name LEWW as a beneficiary of a Certificate of Deposit (CD). These plans can be good choices for charitable giving because they tend to be taxed more heavily than other assets, sometimes greater than 50 percent. However, by making LEWW the beneficiary, the full value of the account will pass to LEWW.

Rollover Your IRA
This is a benefit for folks who are 70½ or older. Check out the information below to see how an IRA charitable rollover gift to LEWW could financially benefit you too!
Benefits to an IRA charitable rollover

Avoid taxes on transfers of up to $100,000 from your IRA to our organization

Satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year

Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions

LEWW Incarcerated minority women and young girls outreach project aims to provide comprehensive, integrated services to empower women emerging from incarceration to achieve safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives in the community, for themselves and their children.

1. Provide reusable period underwear to incarcerated minority women and young girls with underlining health conditions in prisons.

Give Stock
Thank you for making a gift to LEWW, we are grateful for your support.
To transfer stock and other securities to LEWW, please contact us at mercy@leadershipexcellenceforwomen.org so we can share our Brokerage account information with your broker.
Once your broker requests transfer, please copy LEWW at mercy@leadershipexcellenceforwomen.org with the following information so we can provide a tax receipt and acknowledgement:
Name, Address, Phone, Email, Number of shares and Name of the securities.
Please note that our broker will provide us with the date of transfer and the high, low, and close prices for that date. We will issue a tax receipt to you for the total value of the shares at the high price on the date of transfer.
Sell Things for Charity
VEHICLES FOR CHARITY
Are you in the market for a new car and looking for an easy way to get rid of your old vehicle?
LEWW makes it easy for you to do while also supporting our work. We use Vehicles for Charity service who will take your car, truck, van, RV, motorcycle, or boat. They sell your vehicle at auction and then send the proceeds to us.
Making a charitable contribution through this program is done in three steps:

Submit this form to Vehicles for Charity. Tell them you want the proceeds from your vehicle donation to go to LEWW located at 629 Valley Mills Drive, Arlington, TX 76018.

Vehicles for Charity will schedule the pick-up of your vehicle, complete the title transfer, assist you with determining the market value of your donation, and provide a receipt for your records.

After your vehicle is sold, the proceeds from the sale will be sent directly to LEWW.
